I wanted to show off some of the more surreal elements of Butcherette's world with this piece. Butcherette is sometimes confronted by angels (or so they call themselves) which often take bizarre appearances. I like this one for the most part, but I think I lost some of the visual themes that would have tied it into the story. It still works as a visual aid though, so i decided to finish it.
Marked mature for some possibly disturbing imagery and ideological themes. I'm sure none of my immediate friends would find anything offensive here, but just in case, this is in no way meant to criticize or slander the Christian religion or beliefs. I'm more interested in altering the aesthetic of Christian imagery for a completely unrelated story.
The writing on the parchment is Latin, but I used google translator, so it may not be totally accurate.
