A secluded temple nestled deep within the forest.
The People Have Spoken
Average Score: 9.6 / 10
It had good texture and I liked the gleam from the sun and also the surrounding forest and details. this is weird, i did not see this on the front page for some reason but anyways. You are a true artist in many ways you should actually be an OFFICIAL artist instead of posting on Deviantart and Newgrounds. get some kind of canvas and draw away! You would get many fans.
Anyways, you did a very good job with the shading and texture to make it look very real. Also, what program did you use or did you actually paint this using real paint. I really loke your style of art and it amazing how cool it looks.
I also like how you drew the surrounding area and how the tree bark on that tree was scraped off or something. The river was very realistic too. But the temple looks very small in comparison to the trees around it and I wonder who lives in these mystical woods. I think you should go and form a flash art collab to show off your art skills and other's art skills.
I think you should work on trying to make the temple thing a little bigger because it looks really small for some reason. If you are this good at art you should make a flash of some sort or a slideshow of your art if you have flash at your house. this may be one of your older artwork but i think it's the best.
I ooked at your profile and saw that you use Adobe Photoshop. how do you make art with photoshap? Don't respond the question and put the answer, instead, PM me because i don't want to keep coming back to this.
I looked at this in full screen and it looked even BETTER! I reccommend all of the people to view in full screen before you vote because it looks even more amazing. I think this is the longest review Ii have given to someone and I hope you are glad to have this review. Here is the overall score:
Effort 10/10
Originality 10/10
Design 10/10
Shading 10/10
Effects 10/10
Details 10/10
Textures 10/10
Overall this is the best art submission I have ever seen on Newgrounds. Keep it up and keep making things like this! :)

Thanks for that wonderful review, it's very much appreciated.
Onbly problems are that the water makes me think ice not water, and the bridge appears tilted. Awesome job on the temple and fiolage though.
Surely you are a true artist.
I'm not worthy.
I'm not worthy!!!
Looks really refreashing
and they want this artwork. I could seriously see this being a Land card in MTG
I would love to have that hanging in by room
I'd love to have this as a mousepad! you are so amazing!
This is a really good drawing, but to me it feels like somthing I would see in a story book, and not hangin on a wall. None the less great work. The water is a little flat, especially for a waterfall. I would like to see something more hubilant, and reflextive. Also, the bridge is a little wonky.
Amazing work. Do u post to deviantart also?
Author's Response:
Yes. Link is in my profile.
If I were an anime I would totally have sex with all the babes here all the time.
What anime dude wouldnt get a ton of ass living here?lmao
Great.
...This is where yours goes? Well we all have that place don't we. The only improvements I can think of is maybe have the water look a tad clearer, that look usually works well in most situations. And adding some better defined shadows would also help accent that nice beam of light you've got going on there. I like your style! I want to see more of this...island? I'm gonna guess that most of these pictures line up in an island setting.
compared to your other work, this isn't the best...
but still it is awesome, and hard-work-looking.
...One detail...
The temple, in front of the bridge.... uhm, I's noticed to be drawn just there... maybe the first thing you draw... idk..
but you could've rotate it just a bit to the left...
Also every tree has their branches to the sides.. at least 1 to the front would make it like 2 or 4% more original...
which isn't much lol..
it's really good, but knowing your art, you know you could done it much better :D
still looks great...
..............................................................................wow........................................................................................................
I dont know why people said the trees looked ut of place? you did a very nice job of making it look realistic.
idk wat other ppl are talking about this is just beatiful
very detailed very realistic. ilike the light beam from the sun. made the whole picture look warm and welcoming.
the shading was just right and ican see the shadow behind the temple but vivid.
and to chojiro, the trees are dark because the side u r not seeing is not facing the sun, and therefore it has to be darker to be realistic, and the ground however, is exposed to the light from the sun its prefectly understandable how its lighter
Unfortunately, some of the lighting seems very odd. Some tree is very dark which looks out of place. The rays of light seem unnecessary or over the top to me. Shading on the ground is way too much for a bright day. I think making it a little more vivid would have been better, rather than adding paleness.
it's a very nice piece of art, nice details and colouring!
what program did you use to make this??
it's amazing !!
This piece of art 'Brings Light When All I See Is Darkness'
(DON'T steel my line it is very hard thought of and i thought of it about a chick i like so steeling it would ruin it)
Author's Response:
Ok, but only because you're awesome.
Another great work, a lot of fine details and beautiful colours.
I really like the sense of peace an tranquility this drawing makes.... superb.
It´s amazing! I am relly impressed by the way you made the shades and also small details such as the water drops on the leafs.
No words for this.
This is perfect.
This is a calming and ambient piece of work which is brought to life by a variety of elements.
The colours in this piece work together very effectively. ThereâEUTMs the sharp contrast between the red flowers and the green ground which help to make both features stand out. ThereâEUTMs also the harmonisation between grass; the grey rocks (which are partially covered in moss) and the very gentle, light blue river. ItâEUTMs these colours that truly make the scene peaceful.
ItâEUTMs also worth noting the selection of browns found in the trees which seem to make the trees stand put more and really bringing them into the foreground with darker shades while sticking with lighter browns in the background.
I also love the fine detail concerning the temple (which seems to complete the image) as well as the detail with the whole image. ItâEUTMs a clear scene.
A peaceful piece which really draws the user in, youâEUTMve also really captured the essence of an oriental type garden. 96/100 A*

Wow, thanks for the well thought out review. It's very much appreciated.
reminds me of a board from jade empire for x box1
makes me feel I am there, and I can almost hear the water flowing.
one thing though, the bridge seems to be a little off. still great work though.
I can't help but visualize. In my head, I can smell the fresh air in the forest, and the temple looks grand sitting right there. And the water from the waterfall; it makes me want to take a nice refreshing dip...
now someone here did catch the ambiance of an oriental garden, you can almost smell the stillness of the atmosphere
