I really love how the sun creates an amazing gold shimmer all across the painting. The sky is just perfect. The mountains are so cool looking. I think towards the bottom of the painting, where the water meets the land, It looks like you rushed that spot a little, the white parts don't look that great, it looks like you quickly used a photoshop brush. I also think the cacti are a bit too smudgy and blurry. Other than that, This is amazing. All of your art is amazing, You are one super talented dude. 9.5/10 Just make some parts more detailed.
~lol, my vote brought your 4.73 to a 4.74! yay!
There seems to be very little depth to this piece. It's very well coloured but the mountains appear as flat images rather than 3D objects. The same can be said for the ship, piers and buildings in the town. Other than that, great work.
i like this one alot really nice umm painting, agian im not an artist aahh but the one thing that did stand out for sum reason was the ship i dont really n=know why tho :/
First of all, this caught my eye cause it looked like a panoramic painting.
Second, I immediately saw the sun. The glorious blazing sun over the mountains.
Perhaps a sunset or a sunrise, but it definitely hints that the town's port is either facing south or north.
Which is something I always enjoy, the sights and sounds of a port.
And finally the landscape itself seems to have been eroded by the salty ocean air for millenniums before. Great job.
My artistic ability stops at stick figures. So from the opinion of some guy who randomly came across your artwork with no experience in creating art, I applaud you. I'm not sure what it is that makes this piece so... perfect, but in my opinion less is most certainly more. And by that I mean you could have detailed it a lot more and added more things, but then it wouldn't be as good. I don't know if I'm making any sense. 10/10
Ah, thanks man. I figured I'd cool it on the details a bit with this one since it is a desert scene and I wanted the city and terrain to convey the feeling of a sparse desert.
