Service with a smile!
This one took about two full days worth of work. Painted with PSCS2.
The People Have Spoken
Average Score: 9.9 / 10
i love the complete individuality in this picture and i also love the title........the only minor flaw i can see is the perspective of the left wing to the other wing and the body....even with that i am still giving this a ten because i think that that flaw may just be in my veiw..............keep up the good work and congradulations on the awards! 10/10 5/5................... by the way where did the black classic ball bomb come from because the knapsack is full of dynamite(i am only trying to get the meaning of the painting so this review is NOT useless)thank you for putting a real peice of original art and not some other peice of usual NG crap.............I salute you...
Author's Response:
Hey, thanks for your review. =)
The hawk's left wing is tilted a bit more forward than his right wing to avoid getting singed by the flames.
And if you look closely, you can see that the goblin has another round black bomb sitting beside his backpack.
Y'know - it may sound kinda dumb, but THIS IS YOURS?!!? 8D
... I've seen these pieces AALL around NG before, and I never had the time to really go and check them out or make the connection. NOW I FIND THAT IT'S ACTUALLY YOU THAT DREW IT?! I mean it in the best way possible when I say it. Just, wow.
There's a reason I have you on my list of favourites, and I'm honored to have you partake in my crappy little meme. haha XD
... I'll stop now. lol
Author's Response:
Hahaha, Sab you're awesome. Thanks for your reviews.
Even more great work from one of NG's best artist. Let's be honest, if I got bombed by a goblin on a hawk and it looked that awesome, I fucking deserve it. Keep up the amazing artwork.
Author's Response:
Haha, thanks buddy! I'll keep painting in my spare time and hopefully post something new before long.
A goblin terrorist...owned! Great art!
Everything looks great!
Is it inspired by Warhammer?
Awesome! I love your paintings! But seriously....do you really think a hawk would let a goblin ride them? The goblin would have his both eyes picked off...
Kind of seems more like a medieval Green Goblin... DOOD!
A goblin riding a giant hawk truly awsome to imagine.
you work is abosolutely amazing!
"Amazing fantasy work! Magic the Gathering quality!"
Dude if you submitted this piece of art to Wizards of the Coast this could easily be the art of a Magic the Gathering card! Keep up the good work!
All of your art is simply amasing! you are really really talented.
All your work is AMAZING! you have an amazing talent!
u should become a artist or u r O.O
You are deff. my new fav artist. this is amazing!

YOUR FING AWESOME ARTIST!@#$@$#@$@#$@
-it sucks compared to this picture. lol
Interesting peice here. Reminds me of a medieval version of the Green Goblin
reminds me the card game magic
awesome work dude
green is best!!! 2 for the theme, the other 8 for the art
this picture reminds me of warcraft frozen throne.
nice work but for some reason whenever i see this i instantly think
"HERE'S JOHNY!"
Author's Response:
You have inspired me to name the goblin (that's what he is) Johnny.
Here's Johnny!!!
That is awesome. It's the only picture that stuck out on the page it was on. Awesome!
Indeed, it is amazing, but I couldn't see a goblin riding a giant eagle/hawk/whatever-bird-it-is. Goblins are destructive and evil, and hawks are beautiful and elegant. Goblins would most likely ride in a war blimp, or maybe have bat wings, or maybe ride a giant bat itself. Still thought, very great, I love goblins and all things greenskin.
Author's Response:
Contrast was what I was going for. =)
the colors are really striking and the concept is great. Your bird anatomy might need a little work, The wing on the right is kind of confusing. Its hard to tell whats on top and whats on bottom.
Author's Response:
Ah, thanks for that. I have lots to work on, but I'll keep at it. =)
This is a really powerful and also beautiful artwork, it's clear to see that a lot of effort has gone into this.
The way that the giant bird "bursts" through the flames ( which are made and coloured to an exceptional standard.) is really well done. The bird's feathers are also constructed really nicely too.
The shadings are well placed ( with the reddish; purplish tinge ) and add to the chaos factor of the piece.
There's also the comedic element too, I almost start to laugh upon seeing the goblin grinning madly with a bomb in its hand. Yup, definitely "service with a smile"!
Great piece of work, colouring works, somewhat amusing and well detailed. 98/100 A*.
Author's Response:
