Hi Jazza! My name is Alvaro, and I’m from Spain! Here's my entry for the July Challenge of the month! Even though I've seen all of your videos, I've never been "brave" enough to participate in one of your challenges, mainly because I have never been taught any drawing at all and that’s probably caused insecurity and fear (:P) on showing my drawings.... But I really needed to show my appreciation for you, and my admiration. That’s why I did this drawing. It means many things to me, my feelings, my way to see life… until I finally realized something and that was thanks to you, and my girlfriend!^^ This year it’s going to be my first year studying animation and illustration and if it wasn't for you I would probably still be studying chemistry! So even though it might not be the best entry you are going to see, because I’ve seen some amazing work…, I've really put a lot of effort into this piece and it has become my favorite one! I've never done anything that had so much meaning to me...I really needed to Thank you and I thought this was the best way! I hope you like it and I hope you can see as much expression and as many feelings in this piece as I do! It's also the first time I try to draw in a realistic kind of way and I'm pretty happy with the result! Hope you enjoy checking out all of the other amazing entries and I really hope the best for you, your wife and for your little guy ^^! I really can't show how much I appreciate you and what you do, you have changed my life! Jazza, I wish you the best of luck and I really hope I can talk to you some day! Thanks for everything, and keep doing what you only can do! :)

About the piece: it’s done all by pencil and the red tones by a red pencil! The black zones are done with Photoshop just to create a dramatic and scary environment…^^
