Look what DC have done to Mistah J.! :<

Comic Con has already kicked off so I can show it. I painted it for the Joker's 75th anniversary. It represents the juxtaposition of the character as I remember him from my childhood (old Mark Hamill cartoons, Batman Animated Series) and the most reacent creepy comics that totally freak me out (Death of the Family).

Enjoy!

Love the details around the eyes and your over all depiction of joker. Very Nice

Alissandra responds:

Thank you! The DC version was so creepy especially with the skin changing its position because it was poorly striped back to his face. Yuk, I wanted to show that as well but my illustrations is relatively mildly looking comparing to that xD

The way they blend reminds me of 'who framed roger rabbit'

Alissandra responds:

Never thought about that but you are right :)

Been playing Arkham Asylum/City it might also have some influence on the illustration :)
