Girl With The Pearl Earring

This is a duplicate drawing of "The Girl With The Pearl Earring." I'm being 100% serious about this. This was my first real attempt at drawing a portrait. Even realism to this level. I was never comfortable with drawing peoples' faces, but this was for an assignment at school and I'd really like to know what you guys think. Thanks.

If you were going for a perfect copy, then yes, the eyes are not perfect. In my opinion, that doesn't matter at all, because art is supposed to be interesting, and those eyes add something to this picture that grabs attention like a boss.

Very good for a first attempt!
And yeah as the other guys said, eyes are a bit big but as a first attempt its pretty damn good.

a lot better than what I can do duplicating someone's piece.
good use of values. the only thing that seems off is the eyes however that is normally the hardest thing to do in my opinion.

Thanks TrojanMan, yea I'm pretty aware the eyes are kinda off, I was drawing some birds before i did this, I have a feeling that's where the big eyes came from haha.
