Value of a Quiet Moment (Cut-Out Cardboard Artwork)

My entry for Jazza's "Untraditional" Art challenge.

Materials used: Cardboard, LED-Lights, Wooden frame

I wanted to create an artwork, where the untraditional design is not just a gimmick, but serves in delivering a more precise mood and athmosphere.

I intend to replace the battery LED with longer lasting / charged lights in the near future.

In the end I had to choose between 4 refined ideas, after starting out with 25 rough thumbnails. Honestly, all of them wood look pretty neat (I think...). Please check them out here and tell me, if you would've choose otherwise. http://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/alexandrowic/strong-silhouette
