I got sort of carried away after deciding to turn one of my digital sketches into a painting, this thing went through tons of iterations and I didn't really get to finish it. I didn't want to create some sort of literal "space being", but something more like what your psyche looks like if your thoughts had shapes and the world was made up of the colours you see in the back of your eye lids you know?
Once I got this thing appearing something like a vast incomprehensible being I really just focused on shapes, colours, and getting the abstraction stuff going to create the impression of something that emerges out of an incomprehensible mix of formations and impulses and life-stuff. I have a bunch of wip sections that I think are better than what went into the final piece so I might yet upload a StarEater v2 that has those new bits worked into it.
