This is The High Priestess, for Knocturne's Tarot collab in the Art Forum. Check it out.

The High Priestess (or Popess) is the second of the major arcana in a traditional tarot card deck.

Pretty damned good

I think my only complaint about this is the reflection in the water; why do certain things seem to not be reflected, or reflect improperly? The giant obelisks aren't seen at all, but perhaps the reason for that is simply because they are too far in the distance to be seen in the reflection. Even still, the buildings in the reflection don't seem to fully match up to the real buildings; many of the boxy buildings seem to be reflected in a much more pointed fashion, as if they are spires. A good example is the second building from the right, the one next to the large boxy building; the building itself is boxy, but its reflection makes it look like a spire.

Also, I was wondering... why is this picture so much smaller than your Hanged Man card? The Hanged Man is about four times larger than the High Priestess. Is there any way we could get a higher-rez version of this picture?

Preeety....wickeeed.

Overall I really like it, however what bugs me is how it looks like you took your painting and just slapped it onto the card. Perhaps next time feather-select the edge and then place it on the card to make it seem more seamless .

Aigis responds:

It was actually placed underneath the layers of the card which you see. That's just what the card template looks like.

its awsome

like i said awsome but needs little inprovement

Aigis responds:

Perhaps an appropriate thing to include in your reviews, for future reference, is certain ways that a picture might BE improved.

You know, rather than generalisms like that.
