Stripe Conis son of Black-paw Conis is not normal man. Like all battle harden War-hunters before him, he is born a second time. A hand full of first born sons and daughters are sent into the Hell valley, to come out of the other end, born as new War-hunters. However for all who were with him, they shunned him and moved ahead to end of valley, only to be slain by strange men. He did not start this fight but he finished it, leaving him to be the only one alive. So when the veteran came to bring the new born hunters home he only found stripe covered in the blood of all those around him, their bodies spread across the whole valley. From one point of view the truth seems very clear. Its is known that law has foot in the Hell valley, so stripe will return to his people a free man but convicted of a grave sin. he was only misunderstood child before, but now hes known only as a monster, the Red man of hell.
