This is a picture I created taking all of the advice I had received from the Newgrounds community in the forums. I used tons of shading and highlighting layers. I tried to stick pretty close to a the same shades of colors to escape too much "wild selections and random colors" It took me somewhere between four to six hours to complete the picture. I know it isn't perfect, but this project has really brought me closer to my goal as an artist.

I'm gonna be honest here.

The coloring and detail are fine. What bothers me about this is the anatomy, especially the face and head. First off, she really doesn't have a neck...unless she has one in the back and her face just...uhm...yeah, never mind. What I suggest is that next time look at a real human profile (in a photo or real life) and base the drawing upon what you see there. That will prevent a lot of the problems there are in this.
But I think you do have a good start, so keep drawing, and look at details in real life. It'll help you a lot, even if you draw in a cartoon style.

Thank you for your comments. I am starting to look for more references on the objects that I am trying to draw.
