Personally, I LOVE watercolors. I also think dragonflies look amazing in photography/art. The combination makes it even better. I say that this is way better than I could do. :)

While I was paddling down the James River, dragonflies and damselflies were "getting it on." In order to dry out our shoes, all the canoeists tied them to the crossbeams (it also prevented them from getting lost in case of a pirate attack). Atop the shoelace did this little bug perch, and I managed to snag a picture. This is a water color rendition of that picture. Admittedly, I rushed this piece.
