A friend gave me a sketch he made in his math class (on an assignment, of course XD) which was pretty terrible. The dimensions were way off, the perspective was terrible... Well anyway, I managed to spiff it up for him. A lot. It is officially my first time being commissioned ( I was paid! :D).
So now a little on the robot itself. The idea is that my buddy wanted to make a sort of RPG based on robot customization, and this particular one was mounted with special gauntlets that could control a type of "liquid crystal" as he put it. It could be used offensively, defensively, close up, at a range, etc.
Oh, and if your thinking this looks like Kaalik, well you're right. It was not at all my intention, but his designs lead to this figure, and the robot's heasd and Kaalik's helmet are similar by coincidence. I am NOT a one-trick pony.
