My submission for the 2012 art jam, where you had to draw the owner of an eyeball that washed up on shore. Took a lot of time, I don't usually do things that have a full background, plus I suck at coloring, I should really do something about that...
Made with pencils, precision markers, shading markers, colored pencils, and fixer-uppered with photoshop.

very nice look. The characters have good detail. love the sea monster and i can make out a submarine in the back ground.

acid-burn responds:

Thank you. In retrospect though I could have made the sea-monster more of a sea creature, instead of just a scaly four armed man with flippers and stuff. Blast my cliche-ridden uncreativeness.

the perspective is strange. It looks like, that you have no vanishing point. Did you tried zero-point perspective?

acid-burn responds:

I don't remember if I knew about vanishing points when I made this. Not that it matters much, 'cause it has a flat background, meaning no dimensions, meaning no vanishing point. I hate to make excuses though so 'oops'.
