It's sort of Velma from Scooby Doo, but done as a hip modern bad-ass webcomicish character. I considered drawing her as another fantasy dwarf babe at first, but this is how it turned out.

No pencil this time. As I get more comfortable with the tablet, I'm finding certain advantages to doing the sketch work digitally. In this case, the funky perspective thing was done thanks to a lot of layers and erasing and so forth.

Also my first time playing with Gimp 2.8 Paint Studio. In particular, I used a lot of the A - 2 Dynamic Brush for both lines and shading, the ball smudger and the cloud brush for the mist.
