I can truly see your style of indie in this simple piece of artwork. What game3 are you working on?Is it a pc game?
It's a puzzle platformer game where you die if you go into the light so you have to sneak around in the shadows
Fascinating
I always appreciate new styles. This is great. I hope the production of your game goes well. I also feel that I should compliment you on your choice of name and color. The yellow cuts nicely onto the black. The light effect is praiseworthy as well. The sun looks almost malicious, and shadowed figure appears defiant rather than defeated. It is wonderfully comical, yet magical as well.
Keep it up.
New Perspective
I really like that you reversed the roles of light & shadows, brings the artwork a sense of genuinity.
As for the technical aspects of this work, it's great how you empashize the light by making it appear through the trees giving it an extra sense of danger.
Also the difference in styles used for the sun & shadow makes it seem more playful in comparison to it's environment making it stand out.
The background appears abit dull, however.
None the less I really liked this, keep up the work. :D
