actually u got it half right yes its my inspiration of Dead Space known as the Black or Red marker plays a huge role and meaning to every deadspace

but im doing my own version make it more unique and mystical, if u saw it infront of you then your eye will trick you thinking the ball will float but this is just a picture :/

ahh thats because i took the photo of it n the flash flares at the string n it shines so it look like u can see it

its meant to trick the naked eye so it looks like it floats, if u see for real in front of you depending on the background (recommended pure white paper) then yeah it looks like its floating
