Not too sure what your going on about here, but I like it. Reminds me of the popular game "The Darkness". What I really like is the blending of colours and how it's kind of your own style of work. Well done.

I really like the subtle 'face in the tree/tornado'. When I see a work like this I'm always curious about what went into creating it. Not so much the idea, I get that, even though I'm not familiar with any of your previous works. So this is a horrible monster, living in a more horrible land...the bestial teeth are ready to shred our subject (protagonist?) at any second. I think this is like a lot of us in Life. Even with all the really bad shit - if we can find one good thing to focus on there is 'hope'. So I dig the title, even though it's a dark work, perfect title. :) The lighting is a bit weird and not really natural, but I guess I shouldn't question that. What are the red tendrils? Old blood, old anger, old demons melting away? As someone who isn't that computer savvy I don't care about the pixels. The lines look almost too fine to have been originally done on a comp. Was this real paint over pencil or ink or what? I'm always curious about those sort of things for the good art here on NG. Also, if this was originally hand drawn/painted, what are the dimensions? Overall a very good effort.
