Movement
One of the hardest things about painting is making it look like everyone is not just standing still. this painting definitely captures movement. I can see/feel that the tentacles are wrapping around him. And the guy is off his center of balance, leaning forward, which makes him look like he's moving to escape. the space/tenseness between his fingers makes it look like he's under stress or surprise. Very good work!

I don't really critique art,
But I do love it. This here gives me the same feeling as do the portraits in museums. The first 5 point rating I've given on art, gratz.
