Every single detail kept me staring at this for hours (Exaggeration police- take me away if you will. But it's that good!). Somehow reminds me of games like Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Tomb Raider, and Metro 2033 (For the Metro, it's just the lighter. Always gotta love that lighter.)...
Great job on the lighting, too! The shade inside the temple/gate gives off a feel of something inside- something evil. Or something the complete opposite, but I think I'm wrong on that one. The little ball of light the adventurer/researcher is holding gives a feel that he is a little under-powered, with (what looks like) no weapons at all.
Just like the others, this is great. Keep up the good work!

Very, very atmospheric. The gateway design is simple, sleek, and definitely medieval/ ancient looking. I have but one important critique about this though: and that's the lighting. Moonlight is directional light, and should be hitting all surfaces and then bouncing a little more off of it, so we should be seeing all of the left side and right instead of complete darkness. Also, maybe the torch he's holding should be emitting a bit more light, to show off the inside of the gateway. The dark section towards the bottom is okay, I think. Otherwise you have a great scene! Let me know what you think of this criticism, maybe I'm just seeing things XD

But the surface of the ground the explorer stands on seems a bit off compared to the other "grounds" (iunno).. And the castle looks a bit too simple, maybe add some sculptures and details on it. Id like to give you 5 five. But im sure you could have done a little better.

Holyshit.. The detail on the rocks and walls are just.. beyond amazing. It's immensely good!
